Part 2 False Theology Myth: God gives us our needs, not our wants This is so much the false theology, which believes that we are to live on poverty, miserable and struggling throughout life. God's Word tells us quite the opposite; He desires to give us the desires of our hearts! Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalms 37:3-4 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy. 1 Timothy 6:17 What is the context in the above verse? They use the words 'uncertain riches'... which is obviously referring to material wealth or money, right? So then it goes on to tell us not to trust in those things, but in the living God who freely gives us all things (could financial blessing or material...
